I thought I had friends. But it seems to me that that they want me only to finance them. One of my friends hails from a very sound background. His parents give him a lot of cash as pocket money.Inspite of this he asks money from me to fuel his "other" expenses and to live in unbelievable luxury.I have told him a couple of times to curb his bad habits and even showed my disapproval towards them.Even then as a friend I always give him money whenever he asked me for some.He has a funny way of asking too.He normally does not talk to me very often when we meet each other on our way to wherever we usually go.But when he needs to lend money from me he starts to greet me and talk very nicely whenever we cross each other's path.He would then express his desire to meet me at my home or his home.I get the idea then "This guy needs money".Then when we meet in either of our homes he would talk for a longtime about things not even remotely linked to money. Then when it is time to leave he would blurt out "I need xxxxx amount of money". I then lend him the said amount of money.which he doesn't return even when he receives his pocket money.I have to run around to get the money back.As long as I give him money I am his friend,he would call me and greet me when we meet in the road. One day I could not give him any money due to some financial constraints.I told him about my difficulty. After that day he now doesn't greet me when he sees me as if I am not there. He doesn't call me either.Like him at that time I had to refuse many of my so-called friends' request for money.Soon none of them were calling me or even saying a simple "hi" whenever we meet on the road. Now they don't include me in their discussions or any outing like picnic or a movie. They just avoid me.It then hit me that all these friends of whom I was so proud of were my friends because I gave them money whenever they needed.
